Construction Industry Advancement Program
(CIAP)
The Construction Industry Advancement Program (CIAP) was designed to promote and encourage partnerships between employers and their employees in an effort to expand knowledge, offer continuing education, and enhance classroom and hands-on training in the construction industry.
History
CIAP was developed by Maryland Chapter of AGC of America in partnership with the following:
- Local 37 | Operating Engineers
- Local 891 | Operative Plasterers' and Cement Masons
- Keystone Mountain Lakes Regional Council of Carpenters
- Local 710 | LiUNA Construction Laborers'
Benefits
Per the CIAP bylaws, CIAP funds can be used towards the betterment of the following:
- Apprenticeship Training Programs
- Construction-Related Education
- Tuition Reimbursement for Employees & Dependents
- Safety Training
- Disaster Relief
- And, much more!
