This interactive course allows the building trades and craft workers to experience construction supervision techniques first hand and create a professional development plan to achieve personal career goals.

CQM for Contractors

The course offers prospective quality control managers / representatives the opportunity to satisfy the CQM training requirement specified in most Corps and NAVFAC construction contracts and must be taken and passed by –
any contractor aspiring to do work on projects of roughly $1 million+
within 45 calendar days after contract award
the contractor quality control (CQC) requirements, and the Governments
Quality Assurance (QA) role are reviewed.
A certificate will be awarded to those who satisfactorily complete the training and pass the final exam. The certificate will be good for 5 years, an is accepted for USACE & NAVFAC projects

Fall Protection Competent Person

This HART Competent Person Training course is designed for those individuals who will/are currently fulfilling the role of a Competent Person in either a Construction (OSHA 1926) or General Industry (OSHA 1910) environment. This course will assist students in identifying fall hazards and utilizing best practices in the elimination of predictable and identifiable slip, trip, and fall hazards.

Throughout the course, students will be given written tests and practical application activities to ensure they fully understand and are able to demonstrate the skills taught. Students are highly encouraged to bring their own Personal Fall Protection equipment for the hands-on activities that cover donning and equipment inspection.

Fall Protection Competent Person - Refresher

This 8-hour HART Competent Person Refresher Training course is designed for those individuals who are currently responsible or assigned as a Competent Person in either a Construction (OSHA 1926) or General Industry (OSHA 1910) environment. This course is aimed at refreshing the knowledge of the Competent Person and adding new skills and knowledge to remain current and up to date with rapidly changing fall protection regulations, best practices, and equipment advances.

The course will include lecture, video, demonstration, and practical application exercises to refresh and expand the knowledge and understanding of the Fall Protection Competent Person.

Throughout the course, students will be given written tests and practical application activities to ensure they fully understand and are able to demonstrate the skills taught. Students are highly encouraged to bring their own Personal Fall Protection equipment for the hands-on activities that cover donning and equipment inspection.

Project Scheduling

This course is directed at ensuring the attendees come away with the knowledge and the demonstrated proficiency needed to develop and use schedules effectively.
In addition to assigning dates to project activities, project scheduling is intended to establish interdependencies between tasks while matching the resources of equipment, materials and labor with project work tasks over the duration of the project. Good scheduling can eliminate problems due to production bottlenecks, facilitate the timely procurement of necessary materials, and otherwise insure the on time completion of a project.
All participants who complete both parts of the course successfully will receive a certificate of scheduling proficiency.
